We handle this 04

Your e-visa is sent to you

Once approved, we send your electronic visa directly to you. We'll confirm the validity dates, entry window and what to carry when you travel.

What you need to provide

Document checklist.

We will request these from you after your package is confirmed. Have digital scans ready — clear, well-lit photographs of original documents are accepted.

  • Valid passport — colour scan

A clear colour scan of your passport photo page. Must have at least 6 months validity remaining from your travel date. The name on your passport must match your booking exactly — including middle names. Even a single spelling difference can cause a rejection.

  • Passport-style photograph

This is the most common cause of visa rejection — please read the photo requirements carefully below. White background, face fully visible, neutral expression, no sunglasses, no filters. Send the original file by email or as a Document on WhatsApp — not a screenshot or compressed photo.

  • Personal details

Full name exactly as it appears in your passport (including middle names), date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number and email address. We will send you a short form to complete — we use this to submit the application.

  • Hotel booking

As a Tripoura package customer, your hotel confirmation is already part of your booking. We provide this as part of the application — nothing extra needed from you.

  • Health documentation

Vaccination evidence may be required depending on current Saudi entry rules. Requirements change — we will confirm exactly what is needed at the time of your application and advise accordingly.

  • Families travelling with children

Birth certificates or parental consent documentation may be required for minors. Each child requires their own application. Let us know your group composition when you enquire and we will confirm what is needed.

Photo requirements — the #1 cause of visa rejection

Required

  • ✓Pure white background — not cream or grey
  • ✓Face fully visible, no shadows
  • ✓Neutral expression
  • ✓Recent photograph
  • ✓JPG or JPEG format
  • ✓Square format, approx 200 × 200px
  • ✓File size between 5KB and 100KB

Not accepted

  • ✕Selfies or messy backgrounds
  • ✕Blurry or compressed WhatsApp photos
  • ✕Screenshots
  • ✕Filtered or edited photos
  • ✕Sunglasses
  • ✕Cropped passport photos

Sending via WhatsApp?

Send the photo as a Document, not as a photo. This preserves full quality — WhatsApp compresses images and the result is often rejected.

Practical tips
  • Apply only once your travel dates are confirmedEntry windows are time-limited from the date of visa issuance. Apply too early and the visa may expire before you travel. We will advise on timing once your package is booked.
  • Check your passport nowIf your passport expires within 6 months of your travel date, renew it before enquiring. UK passport processing can take several weeks.
  • Names must match exactly — including middle namesThe name on your visa must be identical to your passport. A single spelling difference or missing middle name can cause rejection. Most rejections come from simple errors.
  • Don't rush your photoThe photograph is the most common reason for rejection. Take time to get it right — white background, no shadows, no filters, sent as a Document not a photo on WhatsApp.
  • Book earlier during Ramadan and school holidaysDemand peaks significantly during these periods. Start the visa process earlier and ensure your package is confirmed well in advance.
  • Health rules can changeSaudi Arabia has updated entry health requirements multiple times. We monitor current requirements and confirm what applies at the time of your application.
After your visa is approved
  • ✓Save the PDF to your phone and email
  • ✓Print a copy — carry it alongside your passport
  • ✓Check your name, passport number and dates are correct
  • ✓Have your hotel details and return ticket accessible at immigration

Visa rules and entry requirements are set by the Saudi government and subject to change. The information on this page is a general guide. We will confirm the exact requirements that apply to your application at the time of booking.

Common questions

Visa FAQs.

Is the visa fee included in my package price?

Yes. The visa is included in the price of every Tripoura package across all three tiers. There is no separate visa fee to pay.

How long does the visa take to be approved?

Processing is often completed within a few days, though this can vary. We submit applications as soon as we have all your documents and track the application through to approval.

How long is the Umrah visa valid for?

The Umrah visa allows a stay of up to 90 days in Saudi Arabia. There is also an entry window from the date of issuance — we will confirm the current entry window rules that apply when your application is submitted, as these have changed in recent years.

Can I visit other parts of Saudi Arabia on an Umrah visa?

An Umrah visa permits entry into Saudi Arabia and travel between Makkah and Madinah. For travel to other cities or regions, confirm the current entry rules with us before your trip.

What if my visa is not approved in time?

We begin the application process well in advance of your travel date. If there is any issue with an application, we will contact you immediately via WhatsApp and work to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Can children travel on the same visa application?

Children require their own visa applications. Additional documentation such as birth certificates or parental consent may be required. Let us know when enquiring that you are travelling with children and we will confirm exactly what is needed.

Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all international travel. Some visa applications and entry requirements may specify minimum insurance cover. We will confirm if this applies when your application is submitted.

What if my passport is not a UK passport?

We work with UK residents holding a range of passport nationalities. If you hold a non-UK passport, message us on WhatsApp before enquiring and we will confirm that your nationality is eligible before you book.
