How close are the hotels to Masjid al-Haram?

It depends on your tier. Prestige hotels sit closest, typically 50–470m from the mosque (around 1 to 6 minutes); Signature typically 25–450m (1 to 10 minutes) — both tiers list every hotel by name with its distance shown on the tier's own page, and each includes one or two hotels that sit further out and are reached by a free shuttle rather than a walk. Classic works differently: rather than a fixed, published list, we match you to a hotel based on your group, budget and priorities once you enquire, and proximity is one of the things we ask about — tell us it matters most and we'll prioritise it, availability allowing.

What does the 90-day visa include, and how long does it take?

The Saudi Umrah e-visa allows entry for the purpose of Umrah. We apply on your behalf once you've confirmed your booking and supplied your documents — passport, photo, and travel details. Processing is typically a few days. We recommend confirming your booking at least 4 weeks before travel. The visa is sent electronically — save a copy on your phone and bring a printed version.

Are flights included in the package?

Flights are not currently included. Tripoura packages cover hotels, visa, private transfers and Ziyarat. We are working toward ATOL registration which will allow us to add flight-inclusive packages — we'll notify everyone on our list when this launches. In the meantime, we're happy to advise on flight options when you enquire.

How do transfers work between cities?

Private transfers are included in every package. On arrival at Jeddah Airport, a driver will be waiting and will take you directly to your Makkah hotel. The transfer between Makkah and Madinah — or vice versa, depending on your itinerary — is also private. You won't share a coach with other groups.

What are the Ziyarat tours and are they guided?

Both the Makkah and Madinah Ziyarat tours are included in every package. Each is a 2 to 2.5 hour journey by private vehicle covering the key historical and religious sites — Cave Hira, Jabal Thawr, Mount Arafat and Jannat ul Muallah in Makkah; Mountain Uhud, Masjid Quba, Masjid al-Qiblatain and more in Madinah. Your driver will guide you through the route.

Can I travel during Ramadan, and does pricing change?

Yes — Umrah during Ramadan is available and many guests choose it specifically for its spiritual significance. Prices during Ramadan and peak periods are higher due to demand, so we recommend enquiring early and securing your dates in advance. Breakfast during Ramadan is served as Iftar and Suhoor rather than a morning buffet.

Is the package suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility needs?

Yes, and we'd generally recommend Prestige or Signature for guests with mobility considerations — most hotels in those tiers sit close to the Haram, which reduces daily walking. That said, every tier — including Prestige and Signature — includes one or two hotels that involve a longer walk or a shuttle rather than a short stroll, so do mention any mobility needs when you enquire and we'll prioritise placing you in one of the closest hotels. Lift access and accessibility features vary by property rather than being guaranteed across every hotel we offer; we're happy to confirm specifics for any hotel you're considering.

Can I travel as a group or with my mosque community?

Yes — group packages are available. Whether it's an extended family, a small community group or a mosque-organised trip, we can accommodate groups of varying sizes across all three tiers.
